How does Run pricing work?
Run starts with a A$1,500 discovery workshop where we map your work and lock the scope of each build. After the workshop, each app is quoted on its own based on what it actually takes to build. The discovery fee is credited toward your first build if you proceed, so you're not paying it twice. Hosting is A$150/mo per app once it's live.
What does the A$150/mo on Run cover?
Hosting, monthly maintenance, and observability. We keep the apps running, monitor usage and errors, and handle the operational housekeeping so your team can just use the tools.
What's actually included in Setup?
We train two people, your AI champion and one partner, over four weeks with one training day a week. You get a complete AI toolchain set up and personalised in their names, a full year of AI subscriptions for both seats, one reference app built together, and the full playbook handed over. Optional office hours and training days are available after, paid per session, never a subscription. From there your team builds the next apps internally. Setup is a one-time engagement with no ongoing fees to us.
Can we move from Run to Setup later (or the other way)?
Yes, both directions work. Some clients start on Run to prove the value with a managed app, then move to Setup once they're ready to bring the building in-house. Others start on Setup, then ask us to take over hosting one or two apps as Run later. The work and learnings carry across.
Who owns the IP and the source code?
You own the IP on both paths. On Run, you own what we build, we just host and manage it for you so your team gets a working tool without the maintenance burden. On Setup, your team builds inside your own accounts and stack, so you own everything they ship from day one.
How long does it take to go live?
Run varies by build. Discovery workshop runs in a week, then each app ships in days to weeks depending on its scope. Setup runs four weeks, one training day a week: complete toolchain set up, two people trained, and one reference app built together. Across both, individual apps usually ship within 1 to 3 weeks of the build phase starting.
What's the ongoing support after Setup?
Two options, both optional and pay-as-you-go. Office hours: hourly review and pair-debugging when your team gets stuck. Training days: a session where we walk the team through what's new in AI. You pay per session when you want one. Never a subscription, never a retainer.
Do you work with clients outside Australia?
Yes. We're based in Newcastle, NSW, and work with clients globally. Most engagements run remotely with onsite visits scheduled where they make a meaningful difference.
What if we don't know where to start?
Start with our AI strategy service. It's a focused sprint that maps your operating model and pinpoints where your AI champion should start. It works standalone, before either path, but it is built as the on-ramp to Setup.
Are prices in AUD? Do they include GST?
Yes, all prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclusive of GST. Setup is a one-time engagement, scoped per team, with no ongoing fees.
Does no ongoing fees mean AI is free?
No ongoing fees means no ongoing fees to us. Setup is a one-time engagement. We include a full year of AI subscriptions for both seats. After that first year, you keep paying for your own AI subscriptions, like Claude, the same way you pay for any software you use. That is never a fee to Bidla. The only path with a fee to us is Run, which is a managed service at A$150/mo per app.
